About?
Alessandro Rosario Rizza is a lawyer and Adjunct Professor of Theory and Technique of Legal Argumentation at the Department of Public Law of the University of Padua. Recognised for his expertise in the protection of fundamental rights, he practises primarily in administrative and public law. He graduated with honours from the University of Trieste and obtained a PhD in Public Law. He was a Research Fellow in Constitutional Law at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa and served as Coordinating Lecturer in the Ministry of Justice training programme for the Office for the Judicial Process.
He currently supports the management of the Second-Level Master’s Degree Programme in Public Accounting at the University of Teramo. He previously served as legal adviser to the President of the Regional Audit Court for Friuli Venezia Giulia and worked with the First Civil Division of the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation, focusing on public law, administrative law and the protection of rights. He is the author of more than 40 legal publications published in journals recognised by ANVUR as Class A, including the Italian Review of Public Law. He has also been awarded the Martelli Legal Prize.
